The Deal Smells Real, But So Does the Battery Capacity
This
TRKOY W5 is a genuinely slim, magnetic power bank at an absurd price point, making it perfect for iPhone users who want emergency backup without the bulk. The magnet holds strong and it actually delivers what's promised. But 5000mAh won't get you far in 2024, and you're basically paying for portability over real charging power.

When a Deal Actually Isn't Smoke and Mirrors
Right, so let's address the elephant in the room: 78% off a
MagSafe power bank. Original price 44.42 pounds, now 9.99 pounds. Your spidey senses are tingling, and rightfully so. But here's the plot twist: the TRKOY W5 actually exists, actually works, and buyers aren't lying when they say it charges stuff. That's refreshing in a world where marketing departments think 'slim' means 'barely functional' and 'powerful' means 'occasionally sparks.'
The thing is, you're not getting a discount on a premium product. You're getting a budget power bank at a budget price, now dressed up in a spectacular markdown that makes it look like someone made a pricing mistake. Spec sheet says one thing, reality says another in the best possible way: the magnetic alignment works, the 15N hold is actually strong enough to not drop your phone mid-scroll, and it charges two devices simultaneously. That's not aspirational marketing talking. That's what buyers keep mentioning across all five-star reviews.
The Specs Don't Lie, But They Don't Tell the Whole Story
5000mAh battery capacity. Let's be honest: that's not a powerhouse. A modern iPhone 15 has around 3200mAh, so theoretically you get one full charge plus some spare juice. In practice? Wireless charging inefficiency means you're looking at maybe 80-85% of real-world return. The 15W output is respectable for
MagSafe, though not exceptional. Compare it to the newer magnetic power banks pushing 25W, and you're aware you're holding a budget option. But at 9.99 pounds, you're not buying a flagship. You're buying a backup that won't destroy your pocket space or wallet.
The form factor is genuinely impressive: 11.8mm thick, 120g, fits in a jeans pocket without making you walk funny. USB-C output means it charges iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, and AirPods. The overcharge protection and temperature monitoring are solid touches for a device at this price. Two ports mean you can theoretically charge the power bank while it's charging your phone, which is convenient if chaotic. Buyers note the magnet sticks properly and the build feels durable, though 12 reviews is a small sample. One review claims it works with Google Pixel phones, which is wild since
MagSafe is Apple's thing, so take that claim with a pinch of salt.
The Verdict: Impulse Buy or Investment Anchor?
Buy this if you want a slim, no-fuss magnetic backup charger for your iPhone and you're tired of carrying a brick. The price is genuinely unbeatable, the form factor is pocket-friendly, and it actually works as advertised. Buyers are happy. Your commute, travel, or that random afternoon when you hit 5% battery won't kill you. Skip it if you need serious charging power, if you use non-MagSafe cases, or if you demand fast charging speeds. Also skip it if you've got an older iPhone without
MagSafe support. This is a niche product doing one thing reasonably well at a price that makes you question if there's a catch. Spoiler: there isn't. It's just cheap.
