The Fire HD 10: A Love Letter to Mediocrity

Whoever decided to put it right next to the power button was clearly laughing maniacally in a meeting somewhere. You’ll turn the tablet off more often than you’ll adjust the volume, guaranteed.
Performance-wise, it’s... fine. The octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM handle streaming and light gaming without too much fuss, but don’t expect it to run Fortnite at 60 FPS. It’s more of a 'watch Netflix while pretending to work' kind of device. The battery life is solid, but charging it is a nightmare unless you’ve got a PD PPS charger (good luck figuring that out without a degree in electrical engineering).

The expandable storage is a lifesaver because 32GB is basically nothing in 2025. The screen is genuinely good for the price, and the build quality is better than you’d expect.
