Keeping the house clean without breaking a sweat
I have seen enough cleaning gadgets over the years to know that most of them end up as expensive paperweights in the corner. But when you knock 57 percent off the price, suddenly this fancy machine stops looking like a gimmick and starts looking like a sensible tool. It moves around with a surprising amount of purpose, and the scrubbing action actually manages to lift more than just the surface dust.
It is sturdy enough to handle various floor types without getting stuck on every little rug in the house. While I still believe nothing beats a good old-fashioned mop and bucket for a deep scrub, this unit does a fine job of maintaining the place during the week. It pulls its weight, which is more than I can say for most of the plastic junk they sell nowadays.
Features that actually matter
The standout here is the roller mop system. It covers a good width, and those 32 nozzles spraying high-pressure water actually do something useful. The navigation is generally quite sharp, and it does not spend its battery life bumping into your furniture like a confused beetle. It also manages to lift its own mop when it hits a carpet, which saves you from dealing with soggy rugs.
The final word on this robotic hand
If you have a large home and are tired of the daily grind of vacuuming, this machine is a solid investment at its current discounted price. However, if you are the type who gets frustrated when software updates go sideways or you prefer simple tools with no electronics, you should probably skip it and stick to your trusty broom.
