The cheapest entry here that still delivers the full experience. It is simple, effective, and looks the part.

This feels more premium than the standard icon lights, thanks to that neon glow. It is the best looking option.
Paladone dominates the gaming decor aisle, and honestly, they have the formula down to a science. Most of these lights use the same basic LED tech wrapped in injection-moulded plastic. The Icons lights, like the PlayStation and Xbox versions, offer a fun desk presence but are undeniably lightweight. If you pick them up, they feel like toys, which is exactly what they are.
The standout here is the Xbox Neon light. It skips the music-reactive gimmicks of the others and focuses on a clean, bright aesthetic that actually looks like a grown-up piece of decor rather than a birthday gift for a seven-year-old. While the others rely on phasing colors to stay interesting, the neon just glows with intent.
Are they smart home compatible? Absolutely not. Will they change your life? Only if your life is currently lacking a green glowing Xbox logo. The biggest difference maker is whether you want a battery-powered light you can move around or a permanently plugged-in neon sign that requires a wall socket.
The Icons lights win on versatility, letting you dump them on a shelf without hunting for a USB port. But if you want a setup that looks clean and modern on camera or on your desk, the neon-style lights are the clear stylistic choice.
If you are looking for the absolute best value, go for the Xbox Icons light, as it frequently hits prices that make it a no-brainer. However, if you want your desk to look less like a toy box and more like a curated space, the Xbox Neon is the winner.
Stick to the PlayStation Icons if you have a nostalgic heart and a need for battery power. Just don't expect these to replace your actual room lighting.
